As a deep-sea creature, the Dark Siren Calypso used to be unaware of anything outside of the ocean - including humans. One day while exploring near the ocean surface, she stumbles upon unknown structures and lets curiosity take control. The more she investigates, the more she gets to know about humans - how they treat the ocean, her home and all living beings in it. Seething at the grotesque ways of living forced upon her friends in captivity, displayed as objects for entertainment, her rage rises as she adapts to a more human-like form and sets out for revenge.
